Abutting the Meramec River, it is about 25 minutes from St. Louis City making the Wild Bird Sanctuary a welcome retreat from the urban environment. Rescue, repair, release and educate the public about our feathered friends are the Sanctuary's main goals. Entrance and parking are free.
